Food and Art
This my offering for the Art in Clay festival lunch to be hosted by La Quatier Francais and IS ART later in the month. I am excited to see what Margot Janse of The Tasting Room creates to serve on this bowl.

I am looking forward to...Art in Clay in Franschoek
I am looking forward to a weekend of beautiful ceramics at the "Art in Clay"festival in Franschoek" this weekend. This promises to be a fabulous outing with something for everyone at the participating galleries, markets and restaurants.
This is my submission of works to be showcased at the IS ART Gallery. I am enjoying a more spontaneous approach to ceramics thanks to the Infocus workshop I attended through VANSA. Thank you,Kai!
"Sensing" is a series of black clay canvases incorporating wire, cloth and upholstery tacks. The clay underwent tremendous stress as I pushed the limitations of the medium and this became an integral part of the aesthetic of the piece.
